know: Around the Year 1000
, the “Bonshommes” (i.e. the good Christians) refused the heavy protocol
of the Official Church and
travelled by this route in order to preach the Gospel values. The
Pope, Innocent III called for the Crusade in 1209 (long and cruel war,
Inquisition). Montségur, the last resisting place, was taken on 1244.
